We love a good impossible pie, and this version is a favorite. The Italian sausage and cheese with seasonings are delicious.
WHY YOU WILL LOVE THIS IMPOSSIBLE ITALIAN PIE
It’s called a pie, but you don’t need a pie crust, it makes it’s own! This dish also comes together in around 30 minutes, which is always great for a busy night. We love to make this one and enjoy it for a few different meals. It reheats really well and will last in the fridge for a few days. Super versatile and delicious. We love to grab a bagged salad and have that on the side and you have a super simple dinner!
SWAPS
This is a very versatile recipe, and you can switch up any of the seasonings, and also make this with ground beef or ground turkey. I suggest adding more seasoning if you use ground turkey. You can also switch up the cheese to cheddar!
HOW DOES IT MAKE A CRUST?
The baking mix is what makes the crust! You mix it together with the milk and eggs and pour it over the meat and it makes a very stable crust. You can slice it and take a piece right out of the pan! If you don’t have bisquik, no problem, you can make your own! Here is the recipe.
I THOUGHT IMPOSSIBLE PIES WERE SWEET?
You would be correct, there are many that are sweet, and many people often think of those when they hear the words “impossible pie”. We have loved that version and think they are so easy to make and a quick, simple dessert!

TIP
This pie is made in a deep dish pie pan! I dont think it would fit in a regular pan. This pie reheats well in the microwave. We also love it topped with a little sour cream.
