A man living with HIV discusses his journey to fatherhood

In this exclusive clip from +Life’s upcoming Father’s Day edition of +Talk, Dr. David Malebranche, Joseph Kibler, and host Karl Schmid discuss the scientific progress that’s enabling people living with HIV to have healthy, HIV-negative chidren of their own.

This is also especially timely in light of the current proposed cuts to HIV research under the Trump administration.

Joseph and his twin brother were born with HIV and never believed they’d be able to have children. Now, Joseph is a new father to an HIV-negative child. In the clip, he shares, “To go from not being sure if I was even going to live to getting to guide someone else through their entire life is no better full circle to go through.
