Drink first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and at night before going to bed for best results.

Kitchen Tools and Equipment :

1. Ceramic Pinch Bowls :
2. Mixing Bowls (Glass) :
3. Silicone Spatula – Blue :
4. Lemon Squeezer :
5. Mortar-Pestle :
6. Pyrex measuring mug :

Ingredients (For 1 glass/ 1 cup of tea) :

1. Water / Jol / Paani : 2 cups
2. Ginger / Ada / Adrak : 1/2 ”
3. Cinnamon Stick / Darchini / Dalchini : 1 ” (Broken into pieces)
4. Honey / Modhu / Shahad (Optional) : 1 tsp Alternative: Jaggery Powder : 1 tsp
5. Lemon / Pati lebu / Nimbu : a slice

Process :

1. Take the water in a pan
2. Add the ginger and cinnamon
3. Turn on the heat and bring to a boil
4. Boil for 7 minutes
5. Cover and let cool until tea is just warm
6. In a glass/ cup, add the honey/ jaggery (If using honey, make sure that water is just warm and not steaming hot)
7. Strain out the tea
8. Squeeze in the lemon
9. Drink warm or chill in a fridge and drink cold
